I would drown in all blues ,

Than reach a shore where only my erratic breath haunts the silence of the dead,

I do not know who you are yet ,

But i will in time ,

I do not know the chords to your instrument,

But i remember the tune like a lingering void that i thought i had forgotten,

You aren’t someone that my memory reflects,

But its my thoughts that keep you alive.

Memories fade

Houses collapse

People bite the very hands that feed them.

Ripe to the eye but rotten to touch.

Two souls connected by threads woven by fate to keep them entwined.

Love cannot be understood

Only felt,

In places,

In the cruel passage of time ,

In our tears

And most of all

In fires we would run to happily just to escape the cold felt when we are elsewhere .

Amidst a shivering chill ,
